Franz Haas Winery

Our winery, founded in 1880, is a historic family estate passed down through generations. Always focused on quality, we combine tradition and innovation to produce elegant wines that are truly representative of the territory. We devote special attention to Pinot Noir, the grape variety that defines our identity, which we interpret through research and vineyards at altitudes of over 1,000 metres.

Alpine Elegance

An extraordinary experience to discover high-altitude viticulture. We will collect you from the resort and take you to the Eggerhof at 1,150 metres above sea level, surrounded by Pinot Noir vineyards dedicated to our Metodo Classico. In this alpine setting, you will enjoy a Pas Dosé accompanied by a selection of local specialities. The tour continues in the cellar, where a dialogue between art and wine unfolds, and concludes with a guided tasting of our most representative wines before returning to the resort.

Moments of Pleasure – Manna Edition

The cellar tour takes you on a journey through our history and values, celebrating the ongoing dialogue between art and wine. The tour continues with a guided tasting of our most representative wines, including Manna and Pinot Noir, set in the green surroundings of our garden, at the foot of our oldest Pinot Noir vineyard. To complement the experience, you may order a platter of regional specialities.

Baron Widmann Estate Winery

Our estate winery, owned by the Baron Widmann family, is located in the historic family residence in the centre of Cortaccia, where our family has devoted itself to viticulture for generations. The varied soil types, altitudes and aspects of the predominantly steep slopes offer ideal conditions for our grape varieties, which are grown exclusively for the production of quality wines. Our vineyards range from approximately 220 m above sea level on the valley slopes to 610 m in the hillside areas. The warm zones of Cortaccia are particularly suited to the cultivation of Bordeaux varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as the native Vernatsch, grown mainly on the estates around the Auhof. Here we also dedicate ourselves to the production of wine and fruit vinegars.

In Harmony Between Wine and History

In our charming tasting room or in the atmospheric courtyard, you will discover the history of our family winery and enjoy a tasting of 6 to 8 wines.

Tramin Winery

Our winery, founded in 1898, is one of the most important and traditional cooperatives in South Tyrol, with around 160 member families. It is considered the birthplace of modern Gewürztraminer and is renowned for its excellent aromatic white wines. Under the guidance of cellar master Willi Stürz, a rigorous focus on quality was already introduced in the 1990s.

Immerse yourself in an experience for all the senses: Cantina Tramin captivates with internationally acclaimed aromatic wines and fascinating architecture. From the light-filled tasting room, the view stretches over the vineyards to Lake Caldaro, and seven outstanding wines await your discovery.

Moments of Pleasure at Tiefenbrunner – Manna Edition

Our tasting package includes an expert guided tour of our wine cellar. During the tour, we offer insights into our philosophy, the distinctive features of our vineyards and the different styles of our wines. We then guide you through a carefully curated selection from our range – from the freshest entry-level wines to characterful single-vineyard labels. We round off this special experience in the idyllic garden of our bistro: with a fine glass of wine accompanied by a small tasting plate of selected South Tyrolean products. We are happy to tailor the tasting to your personal preferences.

Cortaccia Winery

In the breathtakingly steep vineyards of Cortaccia, ranging from 220 to 900 metres above sea level, each grape variety finds its ideal growing conditions – its own terroir. An altitude difference of nearly 700 metres within a single wine-growing village is unique in Europe. The lower zones are among the warmest in South Tyrol and are ideal for full-bodied red wines, while the white wines find perfect conditions in the higher areas above the village centre.

Premium Rarities Tasting

Join us on a journey through time. After a brief tour of our vineyards, we exclusively open the doors of the barrique cellar in the historic Freienfeld manor, the founding site of the winery. In the atmospheric barrique cellar, you will taste three vintages of three selected wines from our Terroir line and have the opportunity to visit the rarities archive, before returning to the new wine shop and toasting with a glass of our Metodo Classico 600 Blanc de Blancs on the panoramic terrace, with views of the imposing “Milla” cliff face. A traditional South Tyrolean Marende will be served during the tasting.

Exclusive Vineyard Hike

Experience a unique, varied panoramic hike, taste our wines at their place of origin, enjoy culinary specialities and discover why the Cortaccia vineyards are unique in Europe. On this half-day tour, you will walk with one of our professional guides through our vineyards from 900 metres down to 220 metres, tasting 10 wines from our Terroir line at their respective locations. We will stop for lunch at a local restaurateur for a 3-course meal.

Alois Lageder Estate

The estate has been in family ownership since 1823 and is today led by the sixth generation. The guiding principle is “Diversity is key”. For Alois Lageder, diversity is central: it creates fertile soils, healthy agriculture, more life and wines of unique character. Viticulture is conceived holistically – with animals in the vineyards, a vegetable garden, experiments, a love of detail and a team of over 15 nationalities.

Löwengang Experience

The visit takes you through the Löwengang vineyards, the Löwengang estate and into the Löwengang cellar. The focus is on the Chardonnay and the wines from the historic Cabernet vineyard planted in 1880. We conclude by tasting the current vintage of both labels together with a unique selection of two older vintages of each.

Pfitscher Estate

In 2011, our family decided to build a new winery in the heart of nature, combining functionality and understated elegance. The clean lines and predominant black step aside in favour of the true protagonists: the landscape and the wine. From the tasting room, the generous glass front opens onto a view over the Bassa Atesina valley and the surrounding mountains. A colour trail leads through to the Pinot Noir cellar.

Private Wine Tasting

Immerse yourself in the world of Pfitscher and enjoy a fascinating wine experience. Surrounded by gentle vineyards and with breathtaking views over the Bassa Atesina valley, you will discover why sustainability plays a central role for us. To conclude, enjoy an exclusive tasting of 8 wines accompanied by a small selection of South Tyrolean speck and cheese.

Through the Pinot Noir Vineyards

Experience Pinot Noir heaven in Montagna and embark on a delightful discovery tour through the wine landscape of the South Tyrolean Bassa Atesina valley: along the way, hidden historic treasures and fascinating stories about viticulture await you. The interactive, family-friendly Pinot Noir trail winds through the picturesque vineyards of Pinzon and Glen to numerous cultural highlights. Breathtaking views over the South Tyrolean Bassa Atesina valley and the Trudner Horn Nature Park make this hike an unforgettable experience. Afterwards, visit the wine cellar and enjoy a tasting of wines on our sun terrace with a selected Brettljause.

Not a simple tasting, but a direct encounter with the wine and the people who produce it.
Each participating winery offers Manna guests exclusive, reserved access and opens doors not normally accessible: places where wine takes shape and a label is born – over years and seasons.
