Alpine Skiing
For alpine skiing enthusiasts, Manna Resort offers the Cermis ski area (Cavalese) just 15 minutes away. It is also located half an hour from the Dolomiti Superski area, which connects over 1,000 kilometers of ski slopes. You can access it from Obereggen or Pampeago.

Cross-Country Skiing and Snowshoeing
For cross-country skiing enthusiasts, the area around Manna Resort offers an exciting opportunity, with Passo Lavazè and Oclini, chosen training locations for both the Norwegian and Italian national Nordic skiing teams.

Christmas Markets
During the Christmas season, it’s possible to visit the traditional Christmas markets in the area, from those in Bolzano, Bressanone, Vipiteno, and Trento, to Merano and Lake Carezza.

Winery Tastings
For lovers of fine beverages, Manna Resort offers tastings at the Franz Haas winery connected to our establishment. A visit to Franz Haas introduces you to the long history and values of the winery, highlights the ongoing dialogue between art and wine, and provides the opportunity to tour the premises where the products are created and, of course, to taste them. Tastings with tours are available by reservation.
From September 1st to October 31st, the Franz Haas winery will be busy with the grape harvest. To ensure the safety of our guests, winery visits will be temporarily suspended during this period and will resume regularly at the beginning of November.

Bodies of Water
Manna Resort is also synonymous with lake tourism, from Lake Caldaro to Lake Carezza. The stunning Lake Caldaro is the warmest swimmer’s lake in the Alpine region: an irresistible attraction for many vacationers who find ideal conditions here for a variety of sports, relaxation, and fun. Lake Carezza, known to locals as the Rainbow Lake, is a small mountain lake in the Val d’Ega, famous for its crystal-clear waters that have earned it UNESCO heritage status.

Traditional Törggelen
From October to November, immerse yourself in the tradition of Törggelen. Taste dumplings, brined meat, sausages with sauerkraut, apple strudel, and roasted chestnuts, accompanied by ‘Siaße’ and our new wine. Discover one of the dearest traditions of our land, a journey into the heart of South Tyrol.

Cities
Manna Resort is located just a half-hour drive from the provincial capitals of Bolzano and Trento, rich in art and history. Among the cities of Trentino, Bolzano is the most famous for its magical Christmas markets, as well as for its exceptionally high quality of life. Nestled among the Dolomites, Bolzano is described as “opulent, modern, yet its beauty is Gothic,” as Guido Piovene wrote in his Journey in Italy.
Trento, on the other hand, is a city that surprises and captivates. It’s a treasury of many art and historical masterpieces, and experiencing its architectural and natural beauty is a spectacle in itself. Its history is intense, marked by encounters and conflicts: Trento has been autonomous, then under Habsburg rule, and finally, Italian for centuries. Even today, unresolved conflicts and tensions emerge, adding to the allure of this city.

Egna
The municipality of Egna is the main locality in the Bassa Atesina region. It is located approximately 25 km south of Bolzano. Thanks to its geographical location, Egna became an important commercial center connecting the north and south during the Middle Ages, gaining significant cultural and economic importance. Even today, various architectural monuments in Venetian style remind us of the influence of Mediterranean design. The municipality is included in the list of “The Most Beautiful Villages in Italy” with the designation “The Ancient Arcades of the Market Town.”
